Poultry farming is an important field in the agricultural industry. Each year, over 50 billion chickens and chicken eggs are consumed worldwide. Since poultry farming is a delicate process, it is crucial to have effective equipments to ensure the process of inspecting chicken feed and eggs, and the overall sanitizing procedure are done properly and efficiently. Technical equipments such as mechanized egg washing apparatus, automatic feeder, slaughter machines and animal inventory devices have to be chosen carefully in order to fulfill the demands for safe farming. Accordingly, AAEON's extensive experience in all areas of facility management, industrial control, and HMI has met the demands of the industrial automation market for the past twenty years.
Environmental Monitoring
In order to ensure the safety of all humans and animals, environmental standards
should be consistently employed. AAEON's touch panel computer, AHP-1122, can be
placed at the back of the farm where it displays the environmental temperatures
of the farm. The COM ports and LAN ports assure the stability while the IP-65
certified front panel keeps away water and dust.

Feed
The reliability and timeliness of the automatic feed for animals are important, as
it helps maintain their health and lowers mortality rate. AAEON's PC/104 module
PFM-LNP supports power supply voltage, fan speed and temperature monitoring for
additional support. AAEON's compact board PCM-LN02 uses COM ports to receive
feed data and to control the allocation of the animal feed.

Security/Surveillance
With heavy machinery constantly being operated, the facility needs to be on alert to
ensure everyone's safety. AAEON's COM-TC is ideal for security applications with
its hardware and video decode/encode accelerator. Adding a digital camera to
COM-TC, which supports H.264 and MPEG4 graphics, allows the facility to ensure
the safety of its corridors. With an ultra-low power chipset and a fanless
design, the COM-TC will minimize energy usage. As a computer-on-module, the

Chicken slaughter is an unpleasant but necessary part of farms. Since billions of chickens are consumed worldwide, effective yet painless slaughter machines are widely sought after. Egg Inspection
Since there could be numerous pathogens in the farms, it is important to ensure that the eggs are properly cleaned. The IMBI-Q57 can be embedded into an IP-65 or IP-67 system to clean the eggs, as its eight USB ports and two COM ports give this industrial motherboard multiple I/O peripheral options. AAEON's EMB-LN8T connects to the monitor by the use of DVI, while a connected camera via USB enables the workers to oversee the egg cleaning process. After the eggs undergo the sanitizing process, an assembly line of farm workers would inspect and dispose of the bad or broken eggs.

Customers can ultimately buy fresh meat and eggs after the produce has been cleaned and inspected. At the warehouse, workers can utilize the rugged and mobile RTC-1000AS for inventory purposes. By using the CompactFlash™ slot for the RFID reader, workers can collect data on orders. The inventory information is transferred through WiFi via the integrated antenna, and the details are documented by the manager. The EMB-LN9T (Rev.B) is also equipped with a dual Gigabit Ethernet to ensure secure connections so customers can easily order poultry and eggs online for faster service as well.

As a result of the floods that have invaded Thailand, AAEON's key parts
suppliers of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) in Thailand have been directly affected. The
floods have affected the price of the HDD deliveries and availabilities, and
thus HDD production has been temporarily halted. AAEON is working hard through
these delivery fluctuations to minimize the impact on your business. AAEON has
an active supply chain management in order to stabilize the supply source of HDD
components and reduce the impact on the customers. Effective immediately, the
following measures will be taken to help deal with the current situation:
1) AAEON's industrial computer products and related supplies that
include HDD will still be sold, but AAEON will not be selling HDD independently.
2) AAEON's respective Sales professionals will review deliveries and
prices with our customers.
3) After Sales provides a quotation for the
products, you must respond within 3 days, or your order quote will no longer be
valid.
4) Product delivery time will depend on the HDD global market
conditions.

Taipei, Taiwan (January 12, 2012)—AAEON, a leading industrial PC
manufacturer, has released a new fanless controller with the Intel® Atom™ D525
processor: AEC-6612 Rev.B. This embedded controller has a storage temperature of
-20C~70C and an operating temperature of -20 C~60 C for the ability to thrive in
diverse environments.
The AEC-6612 Rev.B encompasses the Intel® ICH8M
chipset and features the Intel® Atom™ D525 processor. This fanless controller
possesses up to six USB 2.0 ports, six COM ports, one power switch, one SYS LED,
one HDD LED and one CompactFlash™ slot for copious connectivity options. There
are also two RJ-45 connectors for fast Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, one Mini
Card is provided for expansion capabilities and for storage, the AEC-6612 Rev.B
offers a 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive Bay for applications in need of anti-shock
and anti-vibration properties. The AEC-6612 Rev.B offers Fedora Core 14,

upcoming launch of a new series of eco-friendly embedded products. Coming in at
under 10 watts of power, the COM-CV, XTX-CV, PFM-CVS, EPIC-CV07, GENE-CV05,
EMB-CV1 and TKS-G21-CV05 will offer the new Intel® Atom™ processor N2000 and
D2000 series by the Intel® NM10 Express chipset. Built on the 32nm process
technology, these products bring the latest technological advances and
performance optimizations at higher CPU clock rates than previously
available.
The COM-CV is a Type 2 COM Express module with an integrated
Intel Atom processor D2700 or N2600 and the Intel NM10 Express chipset. The
SODIMM socket supports up to 4GB of DDR3 1066 memory. The Intel® 82583V Gigabit
Ethernet controller provides for fast networking applications in addition to all
the I/O interfaces of the Type 2 COM Express, including two PCI slots, three PCI
Express [x1] and eight USB2.0 ports. The 24-bit LVDS LCD interface provides
compatibility to today's most common displays.
"The COM-CV will be
offered with comprehensive support for the most common standard and embedded
Microsoft® and Linux environments," asserts Louise Hsu, Product Manager of
AAEON's COM series. "With Dual Core processing at 3.5W, this module will provide
the best Performance/Watt at a price point to meet current project demands.
Furthermore, the Intel Atom™ processor D2700 and N2600 includes Digital Thermal

The PFM-CVS is a new PC/104+ form factor with
an onboard Intel Atom processor N2600 and the Intel NM10 Express chipset. This
board offers three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, four USB2.0 ports, and
an eight-bit Digital I/O. With the optional mSATA and standard SATA connectors,
storage requirements are easily met. Support for up to 2GB of DDR3 memory is
available through the SODIMM slot. Network connectivity is achieved by the
onboard 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet. As a PC/104+ board, users can expand the
functionality with add on modules or utilize the PCI Express Mini Card to easily
achieve greater functionality from this small yet powerful board.
The
EPIC-CV07 can be equipped with a choice of processors such as the Intel Atom
processors D2700, N2600 or N2800 supported by the Intel NM10 Express chipset. In
addition, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory is possible in a small SODIMM. With two SATA
2.0 ports, eight USB2.0 ports, eight COM ports and two PCI Express Mini Cards,
there is plenty of room for expansion and connectivity. Dual 18-bit/24-bit LVDS
LCD interfaces can support full HD resolution. This board operates with a single
+12V DC input to simplify power delivery.
The EMB-CV1 is a Mini-ITX
motherboard with onboard Intel Atom processor D2700 and the Intel NM10 Express
chipset. It comes with two 204-pin DDR3 800/1066 SODIMM slots to support a
maximum of 4 GB of memory. Equipped with four RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485
port, eight USB2.0 ports, one Line-in/Line-out/Mic port as well as one
Keyboard/Mouse port, the EMB-CV1 is ready to go, right out of the box. If
additional expansion is required the board comes with both a PCI Express slot
and one PCI Express Mini card slot.
The GENE-CV05 is a small form factor
board offering the Intel Atom processor D2700, N2800 and N2600 and Intel NM10
Express chipset for space constrained applications. When equipped with the Intel
Atom processor D2700 and N2800 the GENE-CV05 supports up to 4GB in a DDR3 SODIMM
while the version with the Intel Atom processor N2600 can support a DDR3 SODIMM
with a maximum of 2 GB of memory. The GENE-CV05 has a CFast connector and one
SATA 2.0 port for operating system and storage, along with two Gigabit LAN ports

The TKS-G21-CV05 takes the GENE-CV05 board to the next level of
integration by delivering this powerful board in a fan-less Embedded Box (EmBox)

heavy-duty touch display: FOX-81D. This industrial display has an operating
temperature from 0-50 Degrees Celsius and a storage temperature from -20-70

The FOX-81D is an IP-65 certified

When equipped
with the D2700/N2800 processors, the GENE-CV05 supports up to 4GB in a DDR3

The
COM-TC comes equipped with the IntelR EG20T I/O controller hub and a Realtek
RTL8211CL Gigabit Ethernet to meet communications and networking requirements.
COM-TC has onboard system memory (DDR2 up to 2GB), eliminating the need to add a
memory module, providing a more cost effective and rugged solution. For storage
options, COM-TC offers two SATA 3.0 Gb/s ports, one PATA and an optional onboard
SSD. The onboard SSD furthers the simplification, cost reduction and ruggedness
of the system design by eliminating the need to add storage media to the system.
Moreover, seven USB2.0 ports are supported to allow flexibility in the use of
external devices and peripherals. In addition, there is a 4-bit SDIO as well as
