The Embedded World 2012 Trade Show is right around the corner and will take place from February 28- March 1 in Nuremberg, Germany. AAEON Addresses HDD Shortage Following Thailand Flooding

As a result of the floods that have invaded Thailand, AAEON's key parts suppliers of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) in Thailand have been directly affected. The floods have affected the price of the HDD deliveries and availabilities, and thus HDD production has been temporarily halted. AAEON is working hard through these delivery fluctuations to minimize the impact on your business. AAEON has an active supply chain management in order to stabilize the supply source of HDD components and reduce the impact on the customers. Effective immediately, the following measures will be taken to help deal with the current situation:

1) AAEON's industrial computer products and related supplies that include HDD will still be sold, but AAEON will not be selling HDD independently.

2) AAEON's respective Sales professionals will review deliveries and prices with our customers.

3) After Sales provides a quotation for the products, you must respond within 3 days, or your order quote will no longer be valid.

4) Product delivery time will depend on the HDD global market conditions.

AAEON has been in close contact with our key component suppliers and deliveries, and we hope to minimize the effect to the HDD shortage towards our clients. If you have any questions, please contact us.

AAEON Implements New Telephone Extension Numbers

AAEON Technology Inc. will be changing our internal telephone process servers. Thus, starting Monday, September 26 at 9 AM Taiwan Time (CST), AAEON’s extension numbers will change from three digits to four digits. Employees’ specific extension numbers will be given out to our respective customers. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.

AAEON Awarded Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award

Taipei, Taiwan (April 19, 2011) —AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, was awarded the Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award at the 19^th Taiwan Excellence Gold & Silver Awards Ceremony program. This award is based upon four categories: Marketing, Quality, Research & Development and Design. As international judges are chosen to carefully go over many different products, the competition is fierce. This prestigious award was presented to AAEON by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) Director General Cho Shih-Chao.

The Taiwan Excellence Achievement Award is given to companies that have won at least fifty Taiwan Excellence Products. In total, AAEON has received fifty seven awards. This year alone, AAEON has won eight Taiwan Excellence Product Awards. The winning products are: NanoCOM-LN, EPIC-QM57, RTC-1000AS, ACP-5182, AGP-3175, AHP-1070, FES-6110, and the GCS1100i.
