AAEON Releases a New COM Express Module: COM-LN Rev. B

Taipei, Taiwan (January 16, 2012)—AAEON, a premiere industrial PC manufacturer, continues to expand their COM Express line up with the recent launch of the COM Express Type 2 CPU Module with an onboard Intel® Atom™ D525 processor: COM-LN Rev.B. This compact size module ((3.74" x 3.74" (95 mm x 95 mm)) supports the low power and high performance CPU with its Intel® Atom™ processor, ideal for any embedded applications that require a balance of performance and lower power.
COM-LN Rev.B adopted the Intel® Atom™ D525 processor with the Intel® ICH8M chipset. Dual displays are supported by an 18-bit single channel LVDS port and VGA port. It is also equipped with the Intel® 82567V Gigabit Ethernet chipset for faster internet connections. COM-LN Rev.B employs two 204-pin DDR3800MHz SODIMMs with a maximum of 4GB for system memory. COM-LN Rev.B also offers eight USB2.0 ports, one PATA, three SATA 3.0Gb/s for storage, as well as five PCI-e [x1], four 32-bit PCI, one LPC bus and one SMBus for expansion purposes.

AAEON Unveils a New Fanless Controller: AEC-6612 Rev.B

This embedded controller has a storage temperature of -20C~70C and an operating temperature of -20 C~60 C for the ability to thrive in diverse environments.
The AEC-6612 Rev.B encompasses the Intel® ICH8M chipset and features the Intel® Atom™ D525 processor. This fanless controller possesses up to six USB 2.0 ports, six COM ports, one power switch, one SYS LED, one HDD LED and one CompactFlash™ slot for copious connectivity options. There are also two RJ-45 connectors for fast Gigabit Ethernet. (Taipei, Taiwan) December 28, 2011-- AAEON is proud to announce the upcoming launch of a new series of eco-friendly embedded products. Coming in at under 10 watts of power, the COM-CV, XTX-CV, PFM-CVS, EPIC-CV07, GENE-CV05, EMB-CV1 and TKS-G21-CV05 will offer the new Intel® Atom™ processor N2000 and D2000 series by the Intel® NM10 Express chipset. Built on the 32nm process technology, these products bring the latest technological advances and performance optimizations at higher CPU clock rates than previously available.
The COM-CV is a Type 2 COM Express module with an integrated Intel Atom processor D2700 or N2600 and the Intel NM10 Express chipset. The SODIMM socket supports up to 4GB of DDR3 1066 memory. The Intel® 82583V Gigabit Ethernet controller provides for fast networking applications in addition to all the I/O interfaces of the Type 2 COM Express, including two PCI slots, three PCI Express [x1] and eight USB2.0 ports. The 24-bit LVDS LCD interface provides compatibility to today's most common displays.
"The COM-CV will be offered with comprehensive support for the most common standard and embedded Microsoft® and Linux environments," asserts Louise Hsu, Product Manager of AAEON's COM series. "With Dual Core processing at 3.5W, this module will provide the best Performance/Watt at a price point to meet current project demands. The PFM-CVS is a new PC/104+ form factor with an onboard Intel Atom processor N2600 and the Intel NM10 Express chipset. This board offers three RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, four USB2.0 ports, and an eight-bit Digital I/O. With the optional mSATA and standard SATA connectors, storage requirements are easily met. Support for up to 2GB of DDR3 memory is available through the SODIMM slot. Network connectivity is achieved by the onboard 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet. As a PC/104+ board, users can expand the functionality with add on modules or utilize the PCI Express Mini Card to easily achieve greater functionality from this small yet powerful board.
The EPIC-CV07 can be equipped with a choice of processors such as the Intel Atom processors D2700, N2600 or N2800 supported by the Intel NM10 Express chipset. In addition, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory is possible in a small SODIMM. With two SATA 2.0 ports, eight USB2.0 ports, eight COM ports and two PCI Express Mini Cards, there is plenty of room for expansion and connectivity. Dual 18-bit/24-bit LVDS LCD interfaces can support full HD resolution. This board operates with a single +12V DC input to simplify power delivery.
The EMB-CV1 is a Mini-ITX motherboard with onboard Intel Atom processor D2700 and the Intel NM10 Express chipset. It comes with two 204-pin DDR3 800/1066 SODIMM slots to support a maximum of 4 GB of memory. Equipped with four RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, eight USB2.0 ports, one Line-in/Line-out/Mic port as well as one Keyboard/Mouse port, the EMB-CV1 is ready to go, right out of the box. If additional expansion is required the board comes with both a PCI Express slot and one PCI Express Mini card slot.
The GENE-CV05 is a small form factor board offering the Intel Atom processor D2700, N2800 and N2600 and Intel NM10 Express chipset for space constrained applications. When equipped with the Intel Atom processor D2700 and N2800 the GENE-CV05 supports up to 4GB in a DDR3 SODIMM while the version with the Intel Atom processor N2600 can support a DDR3 SODIMM with a maximum of 2 GB of memory. The GENE-CV05 has a CFast connector and one SATA 2.0 port for operating system and storage, along with two Gigabit LAN ports for optimum network connectivity. Multiple I/O ports, such as six COM ports, six USB2.0 ports and one PCI Express Mini Card with a SIM slot enables the GENE-CV05 to meet the demands of a wide variety of markets and applications.
"AAEON's GENE-CV05 has dual LVDS for graphics support, along with added display capabilities for full HD decode and Blu-ray Disc™," affirms Jones Huang, Product Manager of AAEON's Embedded Computing Division. "As the first generation of Intel® Atom™ processors to have integrated HDMI for high graphics performance and HD decode, the Intel® Atom™ processor N2000 series exhibits two times the graphics performance compared to the previous generation Intel Atom platform and the Intel® Atom™ processor D2000 series exhibits four times as much graphics performance. The TKS-G21-CV05 takes the GENE-CV05 board to the next level of integration by delivering this powerful board in a fan-less Embedded Box (EmBox) system. With the Intel Atom processor N2800 option and the Intel NM10 Express chipset, maximum performance levels are achieved. It has a 2.5" SATA2 Hard Disk Drive Bay to support SSD or magnetic media for ample storage. As with the GENE-CV05 it offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB2.0 ports, six COM ports and 8-bit digital I/O. Additional expansion is available through the PCI Express Mini Card and CFast™ slot.

AAEON Introduces a New ATX Industrial Motherboard with the Intel® Q67 Chipset: IMBA-967

(Taipei, Taiwan) November 15, 2011 - AAEON is proud to present IMBA-967, a new ATX form factor Industrial Motherboard with Intel® Q67 chipset. This board is sized at 305 mm x 244 mm and offers high performance graphic enhancements with second generation Intel® Core™ technology that greatly benefits Industrial Control and Automation.
IMBA-967 encompasses the Intel® 32 nm Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors and the Intel® Q67chipset and is designed with one PCI-e [x16], one PCI-e [x4], one PCI-e [x1] and four PCI interfaces for expansion flexibility.
