with Superb Graphics: TKS-E21-HD07
AAEON, a leading industrial
computing manufacturer, today released the latest slim and fanless box
computer, the EmBox TKS-E21-HD07, measuring just under 1U in height, and
powered by the AMD® G-Series T56N/T40N Dual core APU and the AMD® A55E controller
hub. The graphics performance/watt through advanced graphics and hardware
acceleration delivers superb graphic performances, with additional boost
capability enabled by AMD® Turbo Core technology without additional power
draw. The TKS-E21-HD07 supports Full DirectX® 11, OpenGL 4.0 and OpenCL™
1.1, giving you awesome graphics performance, stunning 3D visual effects and
dynamic interactivity, making the unit ideal for high quality video monitoring
or display in harsh environments as those of Industrial Automation, Power
Management, Utility, Building Automation, Factory Automation and Energy
applications.
The TKS-E21-HD07 supports
one DDR3 1333 SDRAM SODIMM up to 4GB of memory, one Mini card slot, one mSATA
slot, one 2.5” SATA HDD bay, one VGA, two Gigabit Ethernet, six USB2.0, three
COM (RS-232 x 2 and RS-232/4222/485 x 1), one Mic in/Line out, and is designed
for optional wireless expansions with two external antennas. Low power
consumption under 20W for green computing, excellent anti-shock and anti-vibration
design, weighing under 1.8Kg with HDD, with VESA 75/100 mounting kit
(optional), the TKS-E21-HD07 can be easily mounted or placed in harsh
environments that need to bear the wear and tear of 24/7 operation.
“Aside from the great
graphic features, the 4-piece chassis and 6 screw design of the TKS-E21-HD07
give system integrators the ease to re-configure and assemble the unit for
differing requirements. A front and rear bezel can also be modified for
different I/O arrangements e.g. DVI, DIO and more COM ports.” said Joe Lin,
Product Manager of AAEON’s Embedded Computer Division. “Top and bottom aluminum
heatsink chassis design provides excellent cooling of the unit,” he added.
If Microsoft® Windows®
platform is used, customers can easily create their own user interface without
additional coding simply by downloading the AAEON-developed Hi-Safe™
program. AAEON supports all common operating systems such as Windows® XP,
Windows® 7 and Linux Fedora. For more product and service information,
