manufacturer, today announced the EMB-H61B Mini-ITX board based on the 3rd
generation Intel® Core™ processor: The high performance EMB-H61B supports
65W TDP, using the Intel® H61 Express Chipset for highly reliable embedded
systems.
“As it supports two Full HD displays via Dual
HDMI, the EMB-H61B is ideally suited for indoor recreation facilities, digital
signage, Interactive POS/ KIOSK applications and more,” said Chelsea Lee,

onboard TPM security module offers data protection for automation and other applications

The EMB-H61B’s compatibility with 2nd
generation to 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors offers system integrators
optimum flexibility. When this board is combined with an onboard Intel®
Core™ i7/i5 processor and the Intel® H61 chipset, it offers support for up to
16GB of DDR3 memory available through the SO-DIMM slots, making it a powerful
contender in the Mini-ITX arena. In addition to its industry leading processor,
the EMB-H61B offers six COM ports (one RS-232/422/485 connector and five RS-232
pin headers), eight USB2.0 ports and an eight-bit Digital I/O interface. With
the optional Cfast slot and standard SATA connectors, storage requirements are
easily met. The EMB-H61B features two onboard Gigabit Ethernet ports to
provide faster network connectivity and communication as well as a full-sized
Mini Card slot with a SIM card slot for 3G network access. Users can
expand the functionality with add-on modules or utilize the PCI-Express Mini
Card to easily achieve greater functionality from this small yet powerful
board. Combined with its 12VDC input power support, this Mini-ITX form
factor board is certain to prove to be of great value over
